Questions before we get started?
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. Page content uses WordPress blocks, and images are stored in the Media Library. More complex functionality may need developer help.
Can you keep my current branding?
Yes. We use your approved logo and brand assets while improving layout, spacing, and readability.
Do I need a full rebuild?
Not always. A focused page, landing-page, or conversion project may be enough. We review the current site before recommending scope.
A website should answer the basics without making people hunt
What do you do? Where do you work? Why should someone trust you? How do they contact you? Your website needs to answer those questions before it asks a visitor to fill out a form.
What can be included in your website project
Every project starts with an agreed scope. A new WordPress build can include a page plan, an approved design mockup, service-page layouts, mobile navigation, contact options, and the search foundations needed for the pages being built. Copywriting, photography, integrations, and ongoing support are spelled out in the proposal.
For an existing site, we can focus on the parts that need attention: a confusing homepage, thin service descriptions, a slow image-heavy page, or a contact process that gets in the way. Read our guide to website maintenance, focused fixes, and redesign before assuming you need to start over.
What we check before launch
We review the agreed pages on desktop and mobile, follow the main navigation, check important links, and test the contact process. If the project includes tracking, we check the agreed events too. A form that looks right but never reaches your inbox is still a broken form.
If we’re replacing a website, we identify useful pages and URLs to preserve. Where a URL must change, we plan the relevant redirect. Domain, hosting, and email dependencies should be understood before anything is moved.
What happens after the site is built?
You should know how to edit ordinary page content and where your site is hosted. You should also know who handles updates, backups, software licenses, and support. We discuss those responsibilities so they don’t become a surprise after launch.
How much will the website cost?
The scope sets the price: page count, writing, imagery, features, integrations, and migration all matter. Ask what’s included and what will cost extra. Hosting, software renewals, and maintenance should be clear too.
How long will it take?
We agree on a schedule once the scope and inputs are clear. Content, approvals, and access affect timing. We’ll identify what we need from you before work starts.
Will I be able to move the website later?
We discuss domain control, hosting access, backups, and licensed components before you commit. Editable WordPress content helps with portability, but third-party features can have their own terms. Read our website ownership guide for questions to ask.
